Suggestio for a work arround: Check the convertion real - string variants. If there some possibility that match with your necessity, convert the real variable in String and log it.

ACSmts Posts: 12 Rating: (2)	Hi there, I am datalloging real variables too and I am having the same problem, the real variables datalloged are in scientific notation (4.50000E+01). How do I dispaly real value as 45.0, is there any solution? I have tried to convert the real value to string and data log it but it not solve my problem. Please let me know if you have any solutions. It is true that the output string assume the value of the real variable but when I download the datalog file there are some undesirable things that happens. I attached the datalog file and you can see (if you open with notepad++) that are many spaces between the string "real" value and another values. It is added a null character too in datalog file and I don't know why. Attachment groselha.zip (812 Downloads)

For example: mystring string[10] = 10chars long string mystring string = 254 char long string maybe seting a max size, you could overcome this "efect"
