azsym Posts: 49 Rating: (0)	Hello, I try to learn s300 system ..... I learned the hardware structure of S300 pls, and I passed all sitrain courses. The problem is that programming on PLC is hard job and all examples are so stupid: turning motor on and off or opening and closing valve. So i want to ask for little push up, where i can find real examples ( with FC, FB, and so on). Now i my head is really maze i learn so many thing and cant write serious program. So what to do, may be i have to start programming imaginary machines or to try to put all new learned thing is one project. So can same body give me idea, how to continue with learning because the S300 systems have great capabilities and all examples use only one or two contacts !!! Where to go now ?

Aret Posts: 2348 Rating: (265)	Well, you can try to program something with indirect addressing - for example define what IO you have and read data from all inputs to store them somewhere.

I mean to use function, and blocks, to make sure about OBs, what type of language and so on and so on. From my point of view the help docs never give examples from real word - a complete control of system (not on-off AC motor). So i want to ask can someone help in what direction - where to find real staff, mean tutorial, examples or somethink like that.

"the help docs never give examples from real word - a complete control " Dear azsym, To get into "real machine coding" and "real world examples", you need to get into real life projects / programming / commissioning / site work/ etc ...... tryto get under some one who is actively engaged in this trade ........ what they learn and experience on sites or plants cannot be explained in a classroom (or any courses) .... classroom / short-term courses will talk more or less same stuff which is available in Help menus of Simatic Manager ....... and some basic examples like you talked above ... To learn swimming , you got to jump into water !! Regards (PS : I'm not into real world on-line PLC programming by the way)

If you don't get that oportunity, get yourself a PLC (or PLC-sim) and build some programs. There are a lot of examples here to get at the forum for a lot off situations.
