So now I'm asking: I have a DB501 contaning: 0.0 'Char01' Char 1.0 'Char02' Char 2.0 'Char03' Char 3.0 'Char04' Char 4.0 'Char05' Char 5.0 'Char06' Char 6.0 'Char07' Char 7.0 'Char08' Char 8.0 'Char09' Char 9.0 'Char10' Char 10.0 'Tag_String' String[10] I have in 'Char01' the value 'D' and in 'Char02' value 'E' I don't have SCL Now i want them in to 'Tag_String' so wen I read the 'Tag_String' it will be 'DE' Thanx for quick answers

See the enclosed link which refers to a FAQ in the internet. The FAQ has a description regarding to the converting functfion and see also the picture 22 with the example program.
