Beginners question, blinking light in LAD

trenders Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	I just bought a S7-1200 beginners package (my first siemens, only used ABB before) and (after finally getting TIA to work on Win7/64bit) I'm stuck on the simplest program: a blinking light in LAD with 2 timers With ABB you have a timer.done bit and an ONS (one-shot) input, this doesn't seem to apply to S7. Can someone please post a screenshot of the two (or maybe even one) networks needed to make this work? Thanks, Tim.

Marcjan Diamond Member Joined: 4/22/2010 Last visit: 3/31/2025 Posts: 5697 Rating: (716)	Hello, The s7 1200 has a clock byte onboard ,In the CPU Properties under System and Clock Memory, you have the option of checking the box for system memory and assigning the bit memory location. then you have always on and off bit and pulses( don't hav the exact information at hand now) Look at the online help for clock memory You can use this clock puls with an AND to let your lamp blink.
