Transfer analog input from LOGO!!! to S7-1200 !

george.sterpu Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hi I want to transfer an analog input from a LOGO! 0BA7 module to a S7-1200 PLC. The logo program should remain clean, so I don't want to use the Analog Amplifier block mapped in the VM, or any other function block. The digital inputs byte was sent using the Ethernet Connection menu, using a Write instruction from the local address IB0 to a plc's datablock byte. I need something similar for the AI0 or AI1. The online help says that the analog inputs are mapped somewhere at VB926, but I have no clue how to use this info; in the Ethernet Connection menu I can address VB from 0 up to 849. Is there anyone who can help me? Thanks

You can use a very little prgram. 1: You can connect an Analog Input strait to an Analog output 2: You can connect an Analog Network input strait to an Analog output. You can also connect the analog Input or Network input to an Analog Flag. Sometimes (most) you can use an analog output 0-10 Volt of your sensor 2x Put the signals parallel. Sometimes (not always) u can us an analog output 0(4) - 20mA of your sensor 2x to setting the signals in serie. Its only possible when 1 of the 2 (or both) Analog inputs is NOT connected to ground or - 24 VDC. Otherwise u have to use an Signal converter/amplifier

Helmut_13 Posts: 2930 Rating: (432)	Hi, the data format for analog values is different in LOGO! and S7-1200. So a direct read/write to analog values is not possibel. You have to use an analog amplified or something similar and put the value into the VM-Mapping table. Otherwise a analog value can not be transfered to S7-1200. Hope this helps
