Hello, To have a variable S5 timer from an HMI,Send time value in second into a "Int" variable.Next setp is to convert "INT" to "Double Integer" and multiply it by1000 to convert the time value to "TIME" data type. By using "FC40" data type "TIME" is converted to "S5 Timer".Pdf version of a sample is provided with comment. Also check: S5 Timer Value needs to be changed from WinCC Simatic Timer tag S5Time value set from WinCC Linear scaling in WinCC How can you have a tag of the S7 data type S5TIME displayed in WinCC? Hello again, for checking the elapsed time, I suggest the LAD program in the attachment. Converting BCD output of a timer to "TIME" data type by using "FC33" and finding elapsed time out of remaining time by a simple subtraction. if it is not your case.
