misab Posts: 26 Rating: (0)	Hi My program works fine, but in OB1 FB call was flagged as an error in the FB.(see attachment) I'm tested the FB and they are free of any defects or errors in mathematical operations. I use the programming language ladder. Do you know what can cause this error and how it can be eliminated? Best regards I have seen this behavior and it is often difficult to troubleshoot. However, I did manage, and you will too. You can disable portions of the FB logic that _might_ cause errors until your FB stays green. Examples might be array index out of range, div by 0, and datatype mismatch that manages to compile but will not run. Yes, I know that last one seems odd but I have seen it happen. In the online diagnostics buffer, do you see anything useful? A screenshot of the FB or at least an overview of what it does may help. If it is performingcommunications, that may cause the problem you see if the comm blocks are not properly configured.

This may not be the cause of your problem but gives you problems with your analog output. Try to avoid this by using Mwords or DBW and finaly write 1 time to the output. Regards, Marcjan

Best regards In this thread, I helped someone with a similar problem: /tf/WW/en/Posts/70875 As simple as the logic is, my guess is your DBs are not set up with absolute addressing, or your outputs are not 752/754 or your inputs are not 124/126. I notice also there is T3 & T4. What is T3/T4? If it is a timer, should it be T3.Q & T4.Q? Something is out of range or unavailable. The diagnostic buffer should show something about the problem. If the DBs are symbolic, you will need to delete and recreate them. I think you can select all / copy the details, create the new db with absolute references (compatible with s7-300/400 mode), and paste.

misab Posts: 26 Rating: (0)	Hi my db contains symbolic and absolute addresses AI and AQ are working properly with the address shown.I'm off to fb symbol addresses to help you to see the program with absolute addresses. It is important to note that the program works well on the machine. In diagnostic buffer , there is nothing related to this problem ( diagnostic buffer with paths which can be reached is: HW config-online state-open cpu with double click-window module information-diagnostic buffer) Timer T3 and T4 are signal state timer coil T3 and T4 that were created in the second block (same situation as in the attached). If you add a -(RET)- at various places and note the 'green' status of the FB while online, you may find a problem. Does your FB interface return a value or is ret_val set to return nothing? If you add a -(RET)- {TRUE}after your last network, does the green problem go away?

It works because the last ones (NW 3&4 or 5&6 depending on inputs) are the ones it will carry out. As both of them require DB10.DBX90.4 or 5 to be 1 when one is on and M0.0 is on then it will use that network. You should exclude the move function in NW 1&2 by inserting a NC M0.0 and NC DB10.dbx90.6 immediately before the move functions in these lines. Also put the NC DB10.dbx90.6 before the move functions in NW 3&4. Same goes for It is messy but FBs don't like moving values multiple times to the same PQW area. An easier way would be to group the logic so it only moves the db value OR the 27648. Cheers Stevie
