Error in the installation of WinCC Professional V11

chikhim Posts: 26 Rating: (0)	Hi Everyone! I already have installed the trial version of TIA Portal V11 SP2 in my computer, but i want to install the Wincc V11 Professional. When the installation start, i getan error: "A newer version of the product SIMATIC WINCC Professional V11.0 V11.00.00.00_43.06.00.05 is already installed on this machine: SIMATIC WINCC Basic V11.0 + SP2 K11.00.02.00_02.08.00.01". I tried to uninstall the Basic Version of WinCC but i can notfind it,i think its part of the TIA portal. Please help me, i needthe professional version of wincc, not the basic, what can i do? start over again the installation or what i must install/uninstall. Thanks a lot. Hello Roxitaa, You are trying to install WinCC Professional v11 w/o any SP, whereas you have installed STEP 7 v11 SP2. The WinCC Basic v11 SP2 came into picture as it comes along with STEP 7 v11. Now you need a WinCC Professional v11 incl. SP2 in order to get WinCC Professional installed. You can either get it from your local Siemens representative Contacts Worldwideor order this 6AV2103-0AA01-0AA7 (SIMATIC WinCC Professional V11 SP2, TRIAL) to proceed further.

chikhim Posts: 26 Rating: (0)	I Uninstalled all the TIA in my computer, then i installed again but step by step, first step 7 V11 and then wincc V11, then i downloaded the sp1 and sp2 of both applications and that's all it is running without errors. The firts time, i forgot to install wincc from the installation disk. I have the installations disks. Thank you.
