Can't connect to 6SN1121-0BA13-0AA0 control module.

raybonz Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hello, We have an older Siemens analog drive and I need to serially connect to the 6SN1121-0BA13-0AA0 module (Firmware version is 2.1) but get an error message using IBS ver. 3.3 software using Windows 98 in both MS Dos mode and in an MS Dos window that reads as follows "Connection to the converter is faulted!". I have tried different baud rates etc. with same issue.I am able to connect to 6 other drives using the 6SN1123-1AA00-0LA1 controlmodules with no problem using the same software and a standard serial cable.Apparently this control module is obsolete and I haven't had any luck finding what the replacement is. The software for this control module is SimoComU: http://support.automation.siemens.com/BR/view/en/52618348 Partly compatible means that new controlboard needs a new startup. Good luck.
