How to use byte from symbolic defined bit adress in S7-1200

Annu Posts: 12 Rating: (1)	Dear All, I am using S7-1200, TIA poertal v11 Sp2 with update 5. 8 bools are defined in Fc temp with symbolic addressing. Also i want to use this byte address for comparison then how to use it? I used %LB0. but in compilation it gives error.

It is recommended to write in TEMP area before read them Plus you have option of copying all binary addresses in different bit-position you want in an arbitrary Byte address and then compare the result. Hello again, It is clear that absolute addressing is not possible for Temporary local data.I consulted Hans Berger's Book for S7 1200 and it is also emphasized that point (4.3.6 Use of temporary local data). As a solution , you can reset (or set) all bit manually by coils.For that case define an always false signal and transfer it when required.I think you can use the out element for several symbolic tags in parallel. Hello Annu, Check this out ifit helps. - How in STEP 7 V11 can you access the unstructured data types bit-by-bit, byte-by-byte or word-by-word and symbolically?
