In S7-1200 PID, however it is not possible. You can, however, build a user logic to set the PID to manual mode after startup.

In S7-1200 PID, however it is not possible. You can, however, build a user logic to set the PID to manual mode after startup. I have a FB wrapper/helper function that make use of PID_Compact. When there is a interlock condition I put the PID_Compact in inactive mode. In inactive mode the output value is held at 0. This value is not setable in the PID_Compact function? I can program the wrapper/helper function so that when PID_Compact is inactive the output have a certain value. But before doing that. I wonder if this already possible with PID_Compact?
