Double (same) alarm message in alarm window

What i like to do is log a error everytime a operator push a button on the screen. There are several button with each a specific text. When something occures with the installation the operator pushes one of the buttons on the screen. On each button there is a text corresponding with the faillure of the machine. Later on it will be posible to look in the alarm screen to see what was happening with the installation. Wat happens now is everytime you push such a button the corresponding text comes twice in the alarm window. One time you push the button and one time you losin the button. Is there some way to avoid the message become twice on the screen? I just want only one message everytime one button is pushed. It has also to be possible that when you push multiple times at 1 day on the same button the text has to be written multiple times in de error list. Every message begins with date and time from the moment the operator pushed the button. The alarm window is set to alarm buffer. Can someone help me because i'm stuck with it.
