New 214C DC/DC/DC Does not appear in device list after update 5

Tony Bell Sovex Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	I originally configured the software for a 214 1AE30 0XB0 (V2.2). However I have had a 214 1AG31 0XB0 (V3.0) delivered. When I try to Change Device in the configuration the new PLC does not appear in the device list (214C dc/dc/dc). I have installed update 5 but it is still not on the list. First time with a Seimens PLC and possibly my last.

BR In the system manual and online help it shows the hardware support pack installation process. Quick overview : 1. download HSP to some known location 2. verify zip downloaded properly 3. TIA Portal / Options / Support Packages / "Installation of Support Packages" / Add from file system. 4. Follow prompts. 5. Restart TIA Portal. Verify HSP installed properly. See #3 above to view installed packages.
