Hi, one of the inovations of the SP1 for STEP7 V12 (Released for Delivery at http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/de/76276623) is the User data types on I/O area. Here there is a very simple sample project to ilustrate how it works. Two data types was created to group PROFIdrive Standard Telegram 1 (one as inputs, other as outputs). It is possible to see the feature in the simble table, OB1 and watch table. Note: this sample program has the target to exemplify User data types. It is not intended to be a sample program about drive control via PLC.
