WinCC prof active alarms

Alarms are configured in "HMI alarms" tab. To display I use "Alarm_window". PLC active alarmsare notdisplayed. I see that alarms appear on rising edge of plc tag but if there is no edge the alarms are not displayed. Is it normal? The problem is when the scada is switched on after plc. Then there is no edge and there is no any alarm on screen. Is the problem something to do with WinCC RT? Do I have to install WinCC RT to engeenring version?

K!ke Posts: 1299 Rating: (136)	Hello, which Runtime do you use? I never noticed such behaviour with WinCC Runtime Professional. There are always all pending alarms displayed even if they occured before runtime start K!ke

The alarms in RTbecome active on rising/falling edge of alarmbit.That is something new to me andI connot understand why it is made in this way. If You start the RT the pending alarms are not visible.

m_turk Posts: 25 Rating: (0)	Try puting the start value of the tag to 0 if the alarm is on rising edge, or on 1 if it's on falling edge.. It should work..
