Pabst90 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	I was wandering if it was possible to make 2 different jump functions (JMP) in the same network, in the programming language FBD. I have tried, but I failed, so is it at all possible?

William_B Posts: 5225 Rating: (1204)	Hi. After some thought I might know what your troubles is. Even in LAD the compiler can be strict on where the JUMP is placed. More than one JUMP or more than one LABEL can not be in one network. "Complicated" lines to JUMP can also be blocked. Please find attached some thoughts on the JMP instruction in FBD. If you can't find what you are hoping for.. come back to us and show us a picture of what you are hoping to do. A hand drawn image will do, or substitute an assignment block ( --[=] ) where you would want to place the JMP. Okay? w Attachment Visual clue_Jump in FBD.jpg (933 Downloads)

(Thank you "not_my_fault".. this one is your fault [smile]). Alternatively you spend several netoworks for the task. Please also consider using CASE in the SCL language.. that is very powerful to use for what you need it for. Cheers. w
