Retrieve information from the S7-1215 PLC

In particular the MAC address ( The serial # would also be useful) to determine 'uniqueness' of the installation. I attemted to use the RDREC variant using a Device ID of 64 (PLC name), a 100 bytes pointer; a status DW and a W for the LEN. It returns 16#0070 0000.. Is there any more documentation on this in Siemens? Thanks

Thanks To read the CPU Serial: ID=50 (or 49), INDEX=W#16#AFF0, RECORD byte 28-44 To read the Memory card Serial: ID=51, INDEX=W#16#AFF0RECORD byte 28-44 To read the MAC Address: ID=64, INDEX=W#16#AFF0, RECORD byte 20-25 Remember to set the MaxLen as well. And wait for the Valid bit to be true.
