Hardware ID System Constant

Hello,

because is see no system Constant "Setpoint_Actual_Value_1" in my project with G120C and S7-300 in TIA, so the Question is where this Constant should be.

The screenshot shows the system constants generated when the inverters were added. Although the device name can be changed as explained by IBN-Service, I cannot find any reference to Setpoint_Actual_Value_1 in the device configuration or on the network view.

It only matters because the system constant is used in a DPRD_DAT block call in the program and it would be nice to see a reference to the device rather than Setpoint_Actual_Value_1(1) for example. Of course I could use another constant or a tag, but why have the system constants if they are misleading to use?

Where the constant is used just use the named tag, not the number.

When you create a new project the hwid may change but the constant tag will remain the same.

But the point was the name of the constant is not representative of the device and cannot be changed.
