Communication between S7200 and protool

Is there any experts out there with an answer to this? Regards.. Hi, Are you using a panel or a PC (ProTool /Pro RT)? Normally you can use e.g. Profibus-DP cable for connecting the panel to the CPU. When using a PC often a CP5611 is recommended.

kid237 Posts: 158 Rating: (3)	Hi wizard, Thank you for the reply and the links. I have managed to solve the problem, and i have established communication between S7-200 and Protool/Pro. I think there was some problem with the software installed on my notebook as i was unable to set up the communication on it, however i manage to get the communication on a diffrent PC with the same configuration. So i guess i have to reinstall the siemens softwares in my notebook, i think it has been corrupted. Thank you. Regards.
