Hi, I got some other messages because there was no "Cyclical OB"included in RSE, after that I included OB1 in RSE, and inserted OB72 also. After Generating the RSE it was completed without errors. The message you mentioned is never seen by me..... Which version of STEP7 do you have ?

Late Platinum Member Joined: 1/7/2006 Last visit: 5/11/2025 Posts: 2705 Rating: (321)	Hi, You have not placed the OB35 in the "H Parameters" tab in the CPU properties.... (Cyclic interrupt OB with specialhandling:) After you have placed 35 into this field the software willprotest against the low value of the OB35 for interrupting other blocks: Cyclic interrupt special handling has very little priority: Priority >15 is required So place the value again on 0 and go to "Cyclic Interrupts" and place the "Priority" for OB35 on 16 or higher. Go back to the tab "H Parameters" and place the value 35 again, now it is posible to save something. I see also that you want to call all your I/O from OB35, to get the PII and PIQ also to OB35 you may place the F-IO in PIP1 {in the propertys of the I/O blocks is that possible on the tab "Addresses"}and place also OB35 in the tab "Cyclic Interrupts" of the properties of the CPU on PIP1. The OB85 - call up at I/O access error could be better placed on "Only for incoming and outgoing errors" ....... on the tab "Cycle/Clock Memory" of the CPU properties. As last the Tip to place "Number of messages in the diagnostic buffer" in the tab "Diagnostic/Clock" from the standard 120 to for example 500, so that you could see more errors, with the OB85 change you could see the messages that you want to see, if OB85 gives for every I/O call a message, you couldn't see where it started with because the diagnostic buffer will overflow.

Late Platinum Member Joined: 1/7/2006 Last visit: 5/11/2025 Posts: 2705 Rating: (321)	SM Step7 V5.4 SP2 Hi, I use STEP7 V5.4 SP3.1, you may download the update and install it. I haven't any errors by generating Report System Error. The only things I have found are mentioned before, but I change them after the try-out with RSE.... Maybe that the F-Systems you are using is giving some trouble, I use "SIMATIC S7 F Systems" V6.0 if you have an older one then you have to upgrade this version. For "S7 F Configuration Pack" I use V5.5 + SP3, you may download this from the siemens pages. So maybe try first or STEP7 is enough to make it work, if not then please update the "S7 F Configuration Pack" and if that also not works then please upgrade F Systems.... You first may try if you make a new project with a S7 400H and directly generate RSE to see if it then works. Success....
