Global Library access by more

I've noticed when accessing Global libraries, I can't access a global library I've created, if  another TIA-portal has opened this global library.

Is there a work-around this, because I want to create a Standard library for our company to use, but of course there is requirements to that everyone should have access to this library at any time, and I should be able to control the versions.

You can open a global library in multiple places "read-only".
