conversion parallel bits gray to bcd

I need to convert 20 bits parallel to display, for example 123.66 m, in GRAY  to BCD like( gray-code png).

but i don´t know as convert parallel to serial o MW

Or at least try.

Had you started with a search for "Gray code to BCD" in the search box at the right of this page you would have found this link very easily; it actually is the first link pointed to by the search engine:

The example is for a 4-bit Gray-coded value, but you should be able to extend it to a 20-bit numeral.

There are other posts on the same subject, try the search to have a look at the available suggestions.

but the problem is not convert 20bits in gray to BCD, so i do with XOR, the problem is convert 20 bits parallels to double word, like you can see in the picture above, and obtain a REAL.

Assuming you have 20 bits parallel, which represent BCD-code like 999.99, but without the comma:

1.) Take high word of 20 bits and convert BCD 16 to Int

2.) MOVE converted Int to DI variable and multiply by 10000

3.) Take low word of 20 bits and convert BCD 16 to Int

4.) MOVE converted Int to DI variable and add to DI variable for high word

5.) Use DI variable (highword + addition of low word) and MOVE to REAL

6.) Use real variable and divide by 100

Now you should have your information in a REAL variable
