Network communication: master/master system with manual (non network project) configuration

First of all, this is my first post.
I am wirting it on a text editor on linux (a program similar to notepad) and I have tabs in the text for formating.
This tabs are lost when copying to the Siemens site.
Is there anyhhow to put the tabs?
It would make the formated text much more easy to understand

I have two logos.
I want to tranfer data/bits whatever with network uotputs and inputs.
I want to do it configuring it by hand (no wizard from the netork project)


So I have made a mock-up program, where a network uput (NQ) fires a network input (NI) in a remote logo.
And I cannot make it work.



And I do this sequence:
IP addresses assignation.
Making ethernet connection(s).
Configuring NQ1.
Configuring NI1.

It can be observed both in:
Tools -> Diagrams -> 192.168.7 <right-button> -> Ethernet connection
Tools -> Diagrams -> 192.168.8 <right-button> -> Ethernet connection
That a new client_ connection is been made automatically in both of them.
Both of them connectiosn are greyed, so they cannot be configured nor seen.

(*) (**) It can be seen that a TSAP of 21.0 is assigned to NQ1, so NI1 is tested with Remote TSAP 20.00 AND 21.00.


When simulating the programas and the network it can be seen that nothing is transferred betwen logos.
Not even changing the remote TSAP on NI1.


Questions
----------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Why are created automatically the client connections and why are they greyed?
2) Why the 192.168.7 logo needs a client connection? (When doing this with Network Project the Server TSAP is used to transmit data)
3) Why it does not work?
4) How can it be done?
5) What about putting client connections manualy from "Tools -> [..] -> Ethernet connection"instead of automatically from the cofigurations of NQx/NIx from the Diagrams windows?

Hi

I just copied your setup to network project and then it should work, have not checked about the IP settings. Do not set the Logos up as separate ones but together in a network project from the start. Split the window into two screens and it will be much easier.

There are some good examples for download available on the support websites.
