Sorry, I was wrong. I found the manual back on that link http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/1106718 The communication with the IP is done via I/O trough the PII/PIQ, even by the COM256. When inserted in a 95U/100U system, the slot seems to correspond to the clasical slot numbering. The IP 265 may only be plugged into slots 0 to 7, using the analog addressing in the PII/PIQ. For the ET200,atrevision level 2 of the IM 318-B is required. There seems to be restrictions here: Restriction: The IP 265 can - only be loaded from memory submodule, - only be operated in Slow mode in the ET 200U. (ET 200U automatically switches into the slow mode when itidentifies an IP 265.) |
