Why does my 90U go in STOP mode?

Pontus Posts: 51 Rating: (1)	I have modified an existing program that hasabout eight jump labelsin one segment. The problem I have is that the CPU goes in stop as soon as I download the program to my CPU that is in the production. I have tested it on another 90U in my office and there it works fine. But as soon as I test it on the "real" cpu it goes in stop! First I made the program in an PB, so when it didnt work I thought that was the fault and changed it to an FB. But with no difference. Does it matter? The only difference that I know about is that in the production the CPU-90U have been extended with some more inputs and outputs. Is there anyway to look in the CPU why it has gone in stop? Like you can in Step 7... Maby I can attatch the small program that I am using if it would help....

jklm Posts: 1742 Rating: (309)	Hello, Have a look in this manual http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/1091648 In chapter 5. There is an Interrupt Stack called ISTACK with the cause of STOP. An with the BSTACK you can find out in what block the problem occurs.

Pontus Posts: 51 Rating: (1)	Thank you for your help! I forgot to say that I am using a program from GermaTech instead of the orginal S5 program. But I found info about the ISTACK there also. "Unfortunately" I didnt need to use it, because now when I download the program on my PLC in the production everything works fine. It never went to Stop mode! Dont know why but now it works every time...
