Find/Replace doesnt work after reinstall Step7 V5.4

Rkulal Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hi all, I have this weird issue with using Ctrl F (find/replace). when i open any FC's or FB's I cannot use this function anymore I reinstalled the whole software again but still the same can anybody help me with this Issue. thanks in advance

Phantom75 Posts: 2661 Rating: (279)	Can you see menu item Find/Replace in the LAD/STL/FBD editor (Edit menu)? If yes, try this instead of Ctrl+F. Are other shortcuts working? May be the Ctrl key is disabled or not working?

Rkulal Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	I can neither use the Ctrl F key or else use from edit>Find too. I see that even the Go to location doesn't work for me either. This is with the Step 7 only I guess so since Ctrl key works fine out Step7

Phantom75 Posts: 2661 Rating: (279)	Can you confirm that you can see theFind/Replace & Go To menu items but they do not work? Can you check if other commands in the LAD/STL/FBD editor are working? Where they working before or is this a new installation? I know you reinstalled but seems to me a Windows and/or Step7 installation problem.

Rkulal Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hi , Sorry for late reply. I can see the Find/Replace and Go to Location in the menu. But when i click on that nothing comes up. May be i will have to reinstall the whole software again by uninstalling the first one. If you have any idea why is this happening, Appreciate your great help. Thanks for the reply.
