Suggestion for data records

Hello dear members.

I come here, today, asking for suggestions of ways to retrieve data records from PLC, I'll explain a little bit the situation.

In a casting machine, we retrieve some temperatures at specific moments, this temperatures are read from PLC with HMI, the with a VB script we create a .CSV file that the process engineer collect using a USB stick, this is done on the machines that uses IPC as theh base HMI computer.

The problem; now the IE department wants the same kind of information from an other machines that are using just a small and simple KTP900 basic (6AV2123-2JB03-0AX0), which does't eve allow to use VB scripting. 

Which would be a cheap and easy way to extract the data form PLC and give it a format easy to use, something that a non control engineer can gather and use?

PLC is a 6ES7 314-1AG13-0AB0.

I use for data records the software IBApda form the IBA AG since 2005 with different PLCs.

You can collect data from one ore more PLC like yours without efforts at programming the PLC.
There are different interfaces to connect a PLC.
The advantage is also that you have a free software, ibaAnalyzer, to analyze the datas.

Best way is you contact your responsible subsidiary.

Hello CaOd, thanks for the suggestion, sadly the plant doesn't want to get a system like this at the moment because the data they are gathering is for some testes and want a cheap solution.

I guess I'll just plug a computer we have with winCC runtime, and create the application to create the .CSV file they are used to work with.

Thanks so much for the suggestion, I liked it, maybe in the future they decide to gather all data from process and use this.
