project upload

hi everyone,

pls i have cpu 314-2dp as master and 8 et 200s as slaves plus 5 drives  in a profibus network, with one hmi on an mpi network. i dont have the project and programme. pls how do i upload this?

You do not mention the software (and version) you are using to do this upload. Here are 2 links that can glep you out:

Where you may have problems is with the Profibus nodes. The ET 200S station is a Siemens product, as such it i hould be part of the Profibus catalog of your software, and should upload easily. If the drives are from a 3rd-party, you may have to look for their gsd file (on the manufacturer's site) and integrate them in the Profibus catalog before the uploaded project could work.

Note also that an uploaded program comes without comments or symbols, so it could be a bit difficult to understand the program flow and the functions. If you have electrical drawings of the project, you could use them to attempt to reconstruct the symbol file, at least for the I/Os.
