Hello YA; Look in the Blocks folder of your Step 7 program, look at the details for your FC105 and FC 106. If you see FC105 "Scale" and FC106 "Unscale", both authored by "Siemens", then these are standard blocks (from the TI-S7 converting library) that are used to standardize analog inputs and outputs. Like all blocks developed by Siemens for Step 7, you can use the functions but you cannot open them; this ensures that the blocks remain unmodified and work the same for everyone. They are protected by a mechanism called "Know-How Protect". You can find instructions on how to use these functions with the online help of Step 7, or in such entries in Product Support: - What should you watch out for when converting from TI programs to S7 programs? https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/14431100 - How and for which analog measurements can you use the function FC105 "SCALE" to convert the integer values (INT) into real number values? https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/1765297 - S7-300/400 CPUs: Pressure Measurement in the S7-CPU Using SITRANS P Transmitter https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/23642357 Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
