You've been already given some hints. Try to extract integer and fraction part of a REAL number. When you are done, come and show it to us. Then we can drive you further.

The coding style I'd call a generic IL.  If it was written in the STL strictly for the S7-300 then 2/3 of the code lines and no temp vars would do.

INTO DINT DATA TYPE AND THEN YOU HAVE TO RUN THE LOOP AS PER YOUR
