Using pointer

I need little help.

I have FB, with input #data1, datatype Array [1...64] of byte, which is connected to SFC20 BLK_MOV inside the FB, with output to DB, output #data2, datatype Array  [1..64] of byte .

I'm supposed to move 64 bytes of data, either from inputs or DB, but for some reason I get error ("Constant format for data type BYTE does not fit the formal type ARRAY of the formal parameter date"), when I put either p#i64.0 byte 64 or p#db1.dbx0.0 byte 64 to the input of the FB on the block call. There's not problem with the pointer when I write it straight to BLK_MOV function, but with FB, I have trouble.

Is there any way how I can write the 64 bytes with one tag to the FB and through block move out from the FB?

Hi Matilda,

depending on how many input arrays / DB arrays you need to move, you could setup all possible Block Moves directly, and then choose the applicable one with Jump instructions.
