All of this i must do in a FC which is called every 1s. The repetition = 5 it must be changable. Thank you in advance for help.

Second, do you mean you want to design a program that will pulse an output 5 times (configurable) for 100ms each, or 5 pulses for a total of 100ms? Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier

SuHu Silver Member Joined: 9/8/2016 Last visit: 10/22/2025 Posts: 199 Rating: (10)	Hello dchartier, It is CPU416 in Step7 Each pulse for 100ms (accuracy is not needed, so it can something between 100-200ms euch), The condition it must be done in FC, which is called every 1s (this is already done and it is working).

But i think - what i did - i make it more difficult. Below some details: The interval call of the source FC block is equal to 1 second. I can set some marker and create another fc in other block. For instance in FB which is called every 100ms. The biggest problem is how to implement code to make fixed count of pulses (this value come from recpe) and then stop it. It can be 100ms "logic 1" & 100ms "logic 0".

I have no access a Step7 variant for S7-300 PLCs. It will be up to you to code the design idea to your PLC. Or convince someone to recode it for you. The aim of the code is to give you something to continue the discussion further. Be aware that the T32 in the example will need to be replaced with a S5-Timer that is not already used in your code. I am interested -> why FB is recommended? In this case it doesn't matter what block i will use - FC or FB block. It works in the same way.

The aim is to code it in such a way that the code block becomes a transferable modules; to be transplanted to other projects. This can be done correctly if all references to globally scoped variables (global tags) are removed from the code. That means T32 and MW10. MW10 needs to retain its value, meaning replacing MW10 with a STAT defined FB variable. Replacement of T32 needs to be an IEC-timer, which is available under the additional library instructions available in your software. The short of it: It is a personal preference, but changes are needed to make the code portable / transferable. Exiting request: Would you mind sharing your code translation with the forum?
