ANY pointer to DB indirect addressing DB

Hello, 

I tried example of writing one DB to another through pointers. I've used the example 2 from this topic:

I write to the inputs number of sourse DB and number of destination DB, but it doesn't work. But I the FB is not active. In Value table I can see that DB5 "can't be monitored". What is wrong?

Can you monitor the FB22?

Does the BLKMOV give any Error in Ret_Val?

If you mean downloaded or not?

Yes, blocks are downloaded.

The error code at RET_VAL : 837F.

Help:

You can't copy DB contents just by changing DB number. If you wish to copy from source DB to desti. DB, you must also mention quantity of data(length). Your pointer is not at all correct.

Say quantity in bytes is LEN variable in temp in INT format. For your INT input parameters, the coding is-

T B[AR1, P#0.0]

L #LEN  // quantity in byte

T W[AR1, P#2.0]

L #SRC_DB_NO // DB no

L P#DBX0.0  //area pointer

T D[AR1, P#6.0]

This constructs your pointer with starting address DBX0.0 and quantity as LEN. Assign some value to LEN or u can directly use constant. Do same thing for Dest pointer.
