I'm TiaPortal, not S7 Manager.

I've been given a project that the client insists on being in S7 Manager V5.6.

I have only 1 major hurdle, the 6ES7138-6AA00-0BA0 card.

I'm gearing two servo drives to the linear position of a conveyor encoder through the ET 200SP, TM Count. I need to reset the count every time a new product arrives in station.

All I can find is TiaPortal blocks that I cannot open to mimic the code.

What I cannot seem to find anywhere is a sample of code to access the card and convert it to a number I can use. ie. 85pulses = 1mm as an example.

Can someone, please help...

I do not have a hardware issue, I have an interpretation issue.

I'm looking for some guidance in handling the the RAW data and transposing it to usable Data (DINT).

I've looked through Siemens docs and forum and haven't found anything.

All I can find is TiaPortal blocks no code.

Finally got through to Siemens Support.

Here is a nice summarized document to assist in setting up one in Step7.
