Question about set time value

M.Abzadeh Posts: 64 Rating: (0)	Hello, I have a question about set time value for special porpose in wincc... I wrote a simple program in FC, for using a agitator for mixing two diffrent liquids.. I call my FC in OB , and i decide to set my time value in Wincc..how can i use a DB for do it...?! Then can you show/change the variable in a visualization. The value can you use the linear scaling at the HMI-tag. e.g. Tag = 100 value at DB = 100000 that menas that you can set your timer value at the visualization in seconds. regards CaOd

Just to add extra points.In case of using S5 Timers: Use a memory or a DB to transfer time value in seconds, them multiply by 1000 to convert it to TIME and then use FC40 (TIME-->S5TIME) to have a set value in S5 Timer format. To transfer the elapsed time to WinCC,use FC33 to convert S5 Time format to Time and then remove ms by division by 1000.Then transfer the value to WinCC. The following video, explains the procedure.
