PKC_RS Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	What is the difference between simodrive "6SN1123-1AA00-0LA2" and "6SN1123-1AA00-0LA3". Can I use "6SN1123-1AA00-0LA2" in place of "6SN1123-1AA00-0LA2", and what changes I have to made to do so.

General speaking that is OK. If you machine using all Siemens system , hardware, software-- For instance your machine use SINUMRIK 840D , drive is SINUMERIK 611D ( control card 6SN1118-xxxxx-xxxx and power section as you said 6SN1123-1AA00-0LA2) IN THIS CASE WILL BE NOT PROBLEM, at least no user report problem when they change from --xxx2 to -xxx3. BUT there is 3rd party machine system --such as machine use HEIDENHAIN CNC SYSTEM , they use Siemens 611 Power section (or call drive box) , insert HEIDENHAIN drive control card. If this is your case you must be careful. As i know there are internal services report from Siemens and HEIDENHAIN, main focus on not be replaced power section from --xxx1 to --xxx2 when use HEIDENHAIN drive control card. PKC_RS What is the difference between simodrive "6SN1123-1AA00-0LA2" and "6SN1123-1AA00-0LA3". Can I use "6SN1123-1AA00-0LA2" in place of "6SN1123-1AA00-0LA2", and what changes I have to made to do so.

PISCEAN 2010 Posts: 8092 Rating: (884)	Hello, 6SN1123-1AA00-0LA3 is LT power module. 6SN1118-0NH01-0AA1 is 2 axis control module. You can replace module/control card with same MLFB number. What you want to replace & by which part is not clear. HTH
