Step 5 Logic Conversion

Hello everyone in the Simatic S5/ Step 5 forum section,

I am tasked with interpreting logic written for S5 for TIA Portal.

Below I'll attach the lines which I am not that clear about their functionality. I'll also numerate each row so it's more clear what I am talking about.

 Segment 1

As far as I understand:

• Rows 01-15 serve as creating DBs with elements according to "KF" value.
• Rows 16-18 are for transferring the number "+1" to DW64 found in DB49, which has been called with row 16.
• Rows 19-22 make no sense for me, I have attached a LAD representation picture below.

Next come the second segment

Here is the great confusion I am currently referring rows 01-09

There are sets of Load and Transfer operations, e.g.

1. You load "+15" to KF and then transfer it from KF to FY136. As far as I understand "FY" is a flag byte that accepts numbers from 0 to 255.

The big question is, where can I find this FY136?

Is it located in the previously called DB49? (Segment 1 row 16)

A flag byte remains a flag byte that has nothing to do with data blocks directly.
It looks to me is being transferred first into the left byte and then into the right byte of a word.
FY136 + FY137 = FW136
