How to get from 2 DWORDS to LReal?

we also have an issue where need to produce a LReal 64bit floating point double precision from 4 WORDS but cannot workout how to get from 2 DWORDS to LReal?

Any Idea?

This is for TIA

To convert 2 WORDs to 1 DWORD for example for reading a modbus where 2 words form a floating point number.

Make a function and put the next formula in it.

#D_Word := SHL(IN := (WORD_TO_DWORD(#Word_1)), N := 16) + #Word_2;

#Real := DWORD_TO_REAL(#D_Word);

What PLC are you using? This Conference is devoted STEP 7 Simatic Manager. It supports S7-300/400 which do not support LReals natively.
