S7-300 Timer

Dear guys,

When I use timer in FC block and it first time it runs fine but when I call it second time other function works but timers remain ON and didnot count.

The timer can only reset when R is on. Your stopping the call with m0.0 and m10.1 needs to cycle instead... if you try to call the function more than once you will also end up with an issue. The instance DB (T?) needs to change for each call.

 Hi Zobi92,

If you are creating the standard block (FC) and you are using a S5 timer in it then the the address on the timer needs to be changed on every instance of that FC.

You can declare in the IN_OUT variable say X and its datatype as timer.

and then use X on the address of the timer inside the FC.

This is only if you are making a generalize FC and calling it many times.
