Yes, you can use also array of s5time. But if I can give you advice, you can use also #time, that's better and newer format. And also compatible with IEC timers. And for calculating average, of course, you can, but then it's better start thinking about loops.

Example mentioned above you can see sample usable for all formats. Just change definition of variable.
