Problem with "rewire"

Ltmon Posts: 86 Rating: (5)	Hi, I have a big problem with "rewire". In my project there are calls of FB63 and FB65 (TCON and TSEND). These calls are in a protected FB. I used the function "rewire" to rename the FBs to FB3 and FB5. It doesn't work! Can anybody say to me, why this doesn't work? Please help me! Monty Attachment rewire_en.pdf (430 Downloads)

Aret Posts: 2348 Rating: (265)	You can solve your problem in other way (don't know what is exactly wrong with rewire). Choose project symbol (top node of the tree) -> Properties -> Addressing prioritry. There choose Symbol priority. After that if you change in symbol table "TCON" FB3 to "TCON" FB5 every instance of FB3 in your code would be replaced by FB5.

Ltmon Posts: 86 Rating: (5)	Hi Aret, thank you for your answer. But this doen't work if the FB, in which TCON etc. is called, is KNOW_HOW_PROTECT. I need the absolut adressing and rewiring to change the calls in this protected FB. It's curious, but 1 times the rewiring was okay and the next times it wasn't okay. Any suggestions? Monty

Normaly there is aninformation where the rewire function has changed the requested block, if it can't be rewired, there is a reason why, for example language ID.
