Will the instance DB be recreated?

I am modifying a FB and need to add some static variables to the interface.

When I save the FB I am told that there are no parameters and local variable names available due to a time stamp conflict (see the screenshot). Will this sort it self out when I download the FB to the PLC - or what do I need to do?

You need to update the instances where you FB is used in the project because you changed the blocks interface, this to update the IDB associated to the FB.

You can updated in the program editor select File>>Check and update accesses.

And yes, the IDB will be recreated with the new FB declarations changes on it.

Thank you for answering.

I think we are getting close - but I just tried this (opening FB1040 and selectting File>>Check and update accesses) and I was expecting / hoping that DB1040 would be updated to show the variable names used in the FB - but I got the same warning and the DB was still full of unnamed variables - what am I missing?
