I guess for old CPUs UDTs are not uploaded and therefor missing when compiling the program.

Did you check the Diagnostic buffer when PLC goes to STOP?

Hello, I thought that UDTs were only saved on offline project and when doing an upload it would appear as a struct. 

Have you looked at the program? cycle time exceeded  may be due to a non-ending or very big loop, are you using code with: for, while or jump instructions?

Check the logic, you may be facing an endless loop.

Maybe there is a endless loop if a HW checksum does not match, that's why you get this error on the diagnostics buffer. 

Search for SFC51 cross references, that one can be used to retrieve HW configuration checksum.

Or maybe its looking for one of those variables where you get the IO access error.

Are you sure you have the right GSD files for the devices on the network?

When you compile HW config, system SBDs are generated again and if you are missing some files it will lead you to an error. This issue happened to me long ago when I uploaded a program from a machine, made the change I needed (remove an Input card) and when I downloaded the hardware the machine was not able to restart because I was missing a VFD GSD file. I just downloaded the corresponding GSD file for the VFD compiled and downloaded again and equipment could start running once again.

So, I believe your problem is a missing GSD file, that why you dont face any problem when downloading software changes, because SBDs remain untouched unless you download hardware config.

The person who had the source of the project has changed drive with address 21(from FDS4000 to LS) and it works without any problems. I do not know he caused this problem?

i think somebody created a function that when any changes in HW Cpu goes to stop mode.

Hello MohamadReza, if somebody did that. The way I  think it can be done is comparing the HW config checksum but in order for that to happen, something has to be different on the hardware config, I think if you keep same HW config and recompile, you get same checksum.

You can get this checksum with SFC51, you can find some threats in the forum on how to do that.
