Analog aplifier settings 4-20mA

would you be so kind and help me how to set the analog amplifier (or different instruction?) for 4-20mA water level pressure sensor (sensor is modified to 0-10V).

Is a 4-20 mA sensor?

Or is it a 0-10V sensor?

yes sure, it is 4-20mA sensor, but I used 1KOhm resistance to modify it for logo!

After that the signal should be 0-10V - but it is probably not important information that I mentioned(?)

If want convert a 4-20 mA signal to a 2-10 V signal by using a resistor then is 1 k Ω the wrong value.

The right value in this case is 500 Ω.

Hello, yes you abosutely right 

I installed 500Ohm resistance, now the values are: empty tank: 200, fully tank: approx. 533 (when I set analog aplifier with no sernsor).

Also I understand the diagram :)

1. Just would you be so kind and tell me how the gain and offset are calculated?

2.Shell I set sensor 4-20mA ?

3. when I am trying to send the program to logo! it is refused because of B002 (should it be ended somehow or do you know what is wrong?)

To 1.)
The sensor has a data sheet. The data sheet states which physical range the value corresponds to. I cannot know that, as you did not say who manufactured the sensor or what type it is.

To 2.)
That doesn't matter, because the choice of sensor in the analog amplifier is just a setting aid. It doesn't change the fact that in your case the physical input is 0-10V. By converting using the resistor, your 4-20 mA signal has become a 2-10 V signal. And this must be taken into account.

To 3.)
Al blocks with an output must be terminated. Open block outputs work in the simulation, but not in the real LOGO!. If a block with an output is not terminated, LSC will not accept this when attempting to transfer a program to LOGO! and will abort the transfer with an error message.

Blocks with digital outputs can be terminated as follows:
- Connecting the output to an input of another digital block.
- With a digital flag.
- With an digital output.
- With an open connector.

Blocks with analog outputs can be terminated as follows:
- Connecting the output to an input of another analog block.
- With an analog flag.
- With an analog output.
