I have checked all the access addresses for a number of time, but could not found any thing wrong...please help......

Just to add a bit when you go for module information there is an option of "open block".This button shall take it to block having problem and also the location in block.

You have check the complete logic. Best option is to make BE (Block end) at the OB1 first (so that error will not pe present) and enable the call for the blocks one by one.

Hello Itzabhi; Your diagnostic buffer needs to have OB121 in the CPU's program to be able to give you more information. Create OB121 by right clicking on the Blocks folder, select OB, name it "121", save and download it to the PLC. No need to add any programming linesin it at this time. Next time you face the same problem the OB121 interface will allow the diagnostic buffer to show what addresses are caausing the problem. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier

Here it seems that your CPU is in Stop mode Howerver with inserting OB you will still see SF on CPU but your CPU will not foreced to Stop mode and it should go in Run Mode. please provide yuor backup if possible so we can help you further to identify your problem.

Hi Daniel, Can you elaborate how Buffer will end up showing address of error. What I know is buffer just give type of error and the block where error has occurred ( with or without OB121).

If you require more information: 1- look at the Programming qith Step 7 manual (installed on your computer along with Step 7) and examine the diagnostics chapter for more details; 2- open the System and Standard Functions manual (also installed on your computer alomng with Step 7) and open the cjhapter on OBs; the description of the interfaces of each OB will show you how the CPU collects data from the events that cause it to complain and go to Stop mode. For example, the OB121_FLT_REG variable you see in the interface variables for OB121 will locate the source of the error when OB121 is called (by a Programming Error) and transfer this information to the diagnostic buffer. Other interface variables will use various codes tpo populate the diagnostic buiffer for data on the errors encountered. Of course, these variables are available to a programmer. With a bit of practice, you can use these variables to create your own messages to SCADA describing the events that cause problems in your program. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier

OB121 does not exist and in second try (after restarting PLCSIM) OB121 exists. In both cases event id is 16#253A , DB not loaded. In both cases DB number is 5 In both cases OB number is 1 In both cases module address is 0 Differences only comes in coding which is pretty esoteric. With OB 121 it is 16# 253A 0179 887A 0005 0001 0000 Without 121 it is 16# 253A FE79 887A 0005 0001 0000 Thus my question remains.

What about messages in the diagnostic buffer itself? I understand you are using PLCSim, but it should capture data from OB121 exactly as what is shown on a real PLC. Regards, Daniel Chartier

Is the attached screen shot recent one ? The Date and Time in the Diagnostics is of the Last Month. Could you please save the Diagnostic Messages into a notepad and upload it? There are other messages below the first one, which we are not seeing.
