Try to update USB cable driver software.

Most USB driver will have additional setting that you can see in properties.

Be sure serial enumerator is checked.

Attached a video from upload of my 0BA5 to my PC.

It begins without connected USB converter, you can see, then is no com port 5.

After that I plugged the USB converter, and then is a com port 5.

I tried different lap top too, with comport 5 and comport 7. Still its doing same thing.

will this be a problem with PLC it self, or USB cable I am using?

I use this software to programme new plc and find no problem with uploading or downloading.

I don't know which virtual com port your USB cable makes.

I ask you again:
Was there a utilities cd with driver for the USB cable?
If yes, did you install the driver?

 Yes there is a CD for drives, and I have installed.

its using COM3.

As I have said before, I get green tick for com test and can even switch RUN and STOP PLC from laptop. please check attached photo for USB port

The port settings are correct. By my converter are the same.

I'm sorry, but I can not help you there either.

And you do not need to generate a Support Request, because it is a foreign product and it is not an original Siemens cable.

Last question: Do you have the LOGO! first switched to stop and then the transfer of LOGO! tried to Laptop?

 How od I check this software is licenced to upload ( LOGO! ->PC) an existing programme?

with USB cable I am using, I can STOP and RUN LOGO! that I have in machine.
