Import-User-1 Posts: 3609 Rating: (29)	Import of a Technical Question of an User chetan sharma i was taking a backup of OP77A HMI via from MPI Adapter with baud rate of 187.5kbps & after the backup i am enable to set previous baud rate which is 9.6kbps, i was taking backup with prosave 7.4.6.0. please help me out of this problem plc s7-200 224 is password protected so that i am unable to change his baud rate of 19.2 kbps ,hmi is taking all baudrate but not 9.6 kbps because plc baudrate is 9.6 kbps. its very argent chetan sharma electronics appliences(siemens dealar) indore(mp)

In order to manage OP77A you will need RS232/PPI Multi-Master- cable or USB/PPI cable 6ES7 901-3DB30-0XA0 as PC/MPI-Adapter and USB/MPI-Adapter are not released for transfer. There is possibility to use MPI (PG-S7) by 187,5 kBaud (6ES7 901-0BF00-0AA0) in order to update operating system, project, backup/restore... Did you take a backup using some of above mentioned cables and Prosave software? And what is the real problem there? Sorry, I didn't understand from your above posts. Best regards, Hristo MIhalev

What can I do? hi, in OP77A hmi if your usig MPI it will support 19.2/187.5/1.5 if you want 9.6/19.2/187.5 go with PPI also checkPanels connecting cables manual. hope it will help you. Hello, First I would like to know what is your PAnel Type or MLFB. It can not be OP77A as this panel does not support download or backup through (USB/MPI) PC adapter.

Hello, Why do not you updated OS and then restore the uploaded backup to the OP77A. And make baudrate of CPU226 as its original situation. Please do it and tell us the feedback. I do it. update to V01.03.00.00_08.34 version and restor my backup. now I have baudrate 19.2 and 18.75. and 1500 on mpi/mp baud rate page on Panel. But my PLC baud rate is 9600.

I had MPI cable and i changed OP 77A's transfer settings. Originally OP 77A was able to communicate with S7-200 plc over serial PPI interface with 9600 baudrate. I took Back-Up with Prosave over MPI to restore this Back-Up to another OP 77A. When i connected old panel and enable serial interface 9600 baud was not an option anymore. Solution: Since 9600 baud is lost on Op77A panel, you have to change S7-200's baudrate bu using Microwin software. Change plc baudrate to 19200 and choose 19200 baudrate on the OP 77A panel transfer settings. Communication is established.
