Or V15.1 replace V15 like V14 and V14 SP1.

 V15.1 will be installed as a separate version. V15 and v15.1 can be installed side-by-side.

Hello all, I found this thread as I had the same question. I heard different things from my coworkers so I asked Siemens tech support and here is the answer I got. Basically you have have both 15.0 and 15.1 but only one can be Pro. So for example you could have 15.0 Pro and 15.1 Advanced. I hope this info helps someone as it took me a while to figure it out!

"You cannot install WinCC Pro. 15 and WinCC Pro. 15.1. You can have all versions of Advanced or Comfort as they can co-exist, WinCC Pro is special in that it is a Scada system so it can't use multiple instances of the SQL Server and thus the limitation."
