Hello Guys!

Im sitting here with my new HMI-panel, its a 6av2144-8jc10-0aa0. 

My problem is that I cant find it in the hardware catalog, and I cant find a HSP anywhere as well. So it results in me not being able to transfer to the screen.

Do you think that it is because I use TIA V16?

Might add that I have also tried with the HSP of the regular comfort panel, no luck.

Im quite new in this area, but I will do my best to understand :)

Feel free to ask me questions, for sure I've forgotten something...

Because you are using TIA Portal v16. Did you also install the images of the different panels?

The images are on a separate DVD.

Or you can download from this link:

SIMATIC STEP 7 incl. Safety and WinCC V16 TRIAL Download

From TIA Portal v16, you need to install them separate. (Older versions did install the images automatically)

Find the directory:

C:\Program files\Siemens\Automation\Portal v16\Data\HMI\transfer\16\

Here you find the images.

Somewhat of an inexperienced Siemens programmer here.    At the location you described   C:\Program files.......\transfer\16\, there are two zip files.  SystemData.zip and WebContent.zip.   

If I just unzip those, will that "install" the images?    Is there another step??    Thanks in advance.

1. Download your desired image from the tables below.
2. Unpack your image and overwrite existing files in the installation folder "...\Siemens\Automation\Portal_V16\Data\Hmi\Transfer" of WinCC (TIA Portal).
