PLCs of different manufacturers can exchange data if they share the same protocol.

Normally Schneider PLCs use Modbus/TCP as a communication link on their Ethernet port, S7-200 Smart PLCs do not share this protocol:

ANS:-NO,
S7 200 SMART PLC has on board Ethernet port which can be used for program upload download, communication with Simatic HMI, other S7 PLCs & Win-CC SCADA.

Another possibility would be Modbus RTU, if your Schneider PLC supports serial (RS-485) communication ports:

ANS:-Yes,
All CPUs supports Modbus RTU through on board RS 485 Port and standard type CPUs can be expanded with one Optional signal board(Communication board). Each of this port can be individually configured as master or slave.
